The art of letting go

We are human beings and have emotional base on which our life relies. We get hurt, we feel happy and express every emotion that comes our way. But have you yet experienced one thing that you find it difficult to let go the things which hurt you? Many of us must have experienced it. What do we gain when we hold on things which hurt us? We hurt ourselves more by doing so.
Sometimes to get pure happiness, we need to let go the things which hurt us. What are those things that we need to let go?
  • ·        The hurt that people give us.
    ·        Grudges that we hold.
    ·        Negativity that others spread in our life.
    ·        The hatred we have for someone.
    ·        The greed of wanting more than we deserve.

    ·      The things which don’t contribute in our growth.

There are many things that we need to let go. But the point is how can we do so? What are the ways to achieve this state of letting go?
Acceptance is the key: When someone hurts you, you keep thinking about it and forget to let go. It creates grudge about that person in your mind and it affects your innovative thinking. Just try to accept the fact about people around you that everyone cannot be the same. It doesn’t solve all the problems but your acceptance lets you live in peace.
It’s a game of our memory: Stronger memory worsens the pain. Sometimes we need to forget things in order to be happy. We need to keep in mind only those things which are positive and it would have positive impact on our mind. When we keep in mind every possible thing, it is going to hurt us more.
Empathize with people:  People can make mistakes. You are also one of them. Sometimes they also feel bad about the wrong things they did. They also feel guilty that they hurt you. You try to step into their shoes and try to feel their mind.
It is not for them. It is for your well being. When you let go the things then you feel free. You don’t feel the negativity around you. For your well being, decide to let go! It is the art of being happy!
