A Case of an Angel
Some months ago in the clinic, there arrived a couple from Mumbai with their only child. The kid was about 5 yrs of age with no apparent illness. I startef with the detailed case history and to my surprise that kid had history of frequent and severe seissures and was diagnosed as epileptic kid.
Having tried many treatment procedures the parents were helpless to find any cure.
I with my colleague took the callenge and started a holistic treatment plan. We arrived at a no seissure state with the kid at about end of 3 months. Whilst there was no evidence of any organic cause, more emphasis was paid to psychological cause.
The crux of the case lied in its psychopathology. The kid was suffering from injustice occuring to him as a part of pregnancy blues of the mother.
The point was hit and the case solved.

Enhance Your Immunity While Transformation of Season

- Wash your hands well with a medicated soap before and after having food. For regular hand wash, a mild sanitizer also aids the purpose. Then apply almond oil or baby cream. Application of Eucalyptus oil will also sanitize the skin.
- Wear clean and easy clothes. Cotton and Synthetic fabrics are favorable during monsoon.
- For personal hygiene always keep a pair of garments with you while traveling.

How to spend your Summer..
i) Wake up early : Nothing eats away your vacations like
sleep and television. First few days you might relish the opportunity to be
under covers till late. It's OK to give yourself a break, but after that,
keep up with the habit of waking early. Early mornings give you a fresh
breath and lots of extra time to catch up with those hobbies and activities
that you wanted to do during the school days but could not because of lack of
time and work for exams & assignments.
|
v) Increase general knowledge, read newspaper and keep updated : Never miss a newspaper it shall increase your general knowledge and keep you update.
vi) Join some good activity class and learn something new or go for that sport you like so much.

Summer is Here
1) Juicy fruits such as grapes, water melons etc help to maintain hydration in order to compensate water loss by sweating, they also provide sugar and minerals to add to its value.
2) Sherbats are the next best choice to compensate the water loss in summer e.g. Lime, Kokam and to it add sugar, saindhav salt and pinch of black salt. This will enhance the mineral quality of water which shall in-turn regulate the body temperature.
3) Butter milk and important beverage- made up of fresh curd + salt + water
4) Include onion in your food and also apply the juice of onion on palm and soles
5) After suddenly going from sun heat to shade or shelter, although been thirsty, do not gulp water immediately. Eat jaggery (or khadi sakhar or gathi of sugar) wait and then drink water.
6) It is very beneficial to bath before sleep. You can add aroma oils like lavender, tulsi or just camphor in bathing water. You can also put two drops of these aroma oils on your pillow before sleep.
7) Take care of your Air Conditioner (AC)- Clean it for hidden allergens- e.g. dust, fungus etc. You can apply natural aroma oils like turmeric or tulsi on AC blower.
8) Avoid sudden temperature changes e.g. from AC to sun or opposite. Adapt your body gradually.
9) Be happy and enjoy holidays with your children, it is essential for all- little ones and elder ones! Because smile is a potential trigger for secretion of endorphin's in or nervous system which is a happy neurotransmitter enhancing our immunity. This shall keep us away from Flu, Sun stroke or AGE etc.
